Korea Hero?????? (@koreahero_uk ) ?? Invite ?? Kingston little bit of ASMR today, something a little different from my usual uploads, but honestly who doesn’t love the sound of a good crunch and munch ?? This was without a doubt one of the best dining experiences I’ve had recently, not just because of the food but because of the entire atmosphere. The restaurant is a charming, family run spot that instantly makes you feel welcome, and the location only adds to the magic. Sitting by the river Thames, with the water flowing gently in the background, really sets the tone for a relaxed and memorable meal. The food itself was exceptional. From smoky, flavour packed BBQ dishes to deeply comforting, soulful soups that warm you from the inside out, every bite felt thoughtful and satisfying. The side dishes were just as impressive, with perfectly chewy and spicy tteokbokki, crisp and savoury pajeon, and punchy, well fermented kimchi that delivered on flavour and texture. It is the kind of place you leave with a genuinely happy stomach and an even happier heart. Safe to say this one gets the JAF seal of approval, thank you to Linda for hosting us?? and thank you to @pjconstable @rayroberts for eating with me!! What do you think of this new style of content? Yume Ramen ?????????? @yumeramen_london London Fields ?? ?? Pop-Up & Visit On the final day of this brilliant pop-up, missing out wasn’t an option, so good that even @matcha_samurai approves! Yume Ramen had been serving from mid-June through to mid-July, and after seeing a steady stream of food lovers sharing their visits, the FOMO set in hard. Thankfully, I made it just in timeand it turned out to be one of the highlights of my year in food. Yume generously gave me a look behind the scenes, offering a glimpse into the craft and care behind their Ramen-making process. The attention to detail was clear in every stepfrom broth preparation to final bowl. My mum and I ordered the Tokyo Classic and the Tonkotsu. The Tonkotsu was a full sensory experience: a creamy, rich broth that spoke of long hours simmering pork bones, a beautifully runny egg, barbecued pork with just the right amount of char, and mushrooms adding texture and depth. The warmth and comfort in that bowl was undeniablelike a subtle reminder that Japan’s culinary magic is always worth chasing ?????? Ramen has a long-standing place in Japanese cuisine, evolving over the last century from its Chinese noodle soup roots into the deeply regional and expressive dish it is today. Tonkotsu, in particular, hails from Fukuoka and is known for its milky, collagen-rich broth. Yume are now offering DIY Ramen Kits, bringing the experience home. Be sure to follow them and stay updated on what they’re cooking next ?????????? #instagood #instagram #reels #london #fyp #trending #instalike #explore #foodporn #food #foodie #viral #trend #instadaily #explorepage #reelsinstagram #uk

Murger Han Elephant and Castle London
Eat
Murger Han ???? @murgerhan Euston & Elephant and Castle ?? ?? Invited / Paid Collaboration Murger Han is a haven for fans of Xian cuisine a food culture born in the ancient Silk Road city of Xian, where Chinese, Central Asian and Middle Eastern influences blend into bold, tangy and spicy flavours. Here you’ll find everything from hearty lamb and beef dishes to roujiamo (Chinese burgers, known here as murgers) and the famously thick biangbiang noodles. I began with a lean pork murger: crisp, flaky bread encasing juicy, well-seasoned meat. Though I treated it as a starter, it was satisfyingly substantial. Next came spinach biangbiang noodles with beef rib packed with spice, savouriness and tenderness. The broad noodles clung to the rich sauce and toppings, wrapping every bite in layers of flavour. To finish, I had a red bean panna cotta a gentle contrast to the heavier dishes before. Creamy, silky and subtly sweet, it was the perfect palate-soother and a comforting end to the meal. If you love bold, authentic flavours from one of China’s most historic food capitals, Murger Han is a must. JRC Global Buffet ?????? @jrc_global_buffet Watford ?? ?? Invite / Collaboration If you’re a foodie and you’ve not heard of JRC, I’d assume you’ve been living under a rock with Patrick Star ???. JRC offers a buffet experience that takes you on a trip around the globe from Asian cuisines like Chinese, Japanese and Indian, to Western favourites such as Italian, Spanish, and even a few American classics. Entry sits between 2527 depending on the branch (drinks not included). Now, here’s my honest take it’s a bit of a hit and miss. You’ll find yourself going back up for seconds (and thirds), but for me, it didn’t quite have the sparkle it once had when I visited their Wood Green branch. Funny how prices creep up yet quality can sometimes slip a shame, really. That said, the Teppanyaki was both delicious and great fun to watch, and the desserts absolute bliss for my sweet tooth ???. Despite my mixed feelings, I’d say JRC is worth trying at least once. No.10 Restaurant 上海10號, Hogarth Place, London SW5 0QT, United Kingdom
South Kensington · Eat
No. 10 ???????? ?? Earls Court ?? Event / Invite The UK’s Chinese restaurant scene continues to grow in both scale and sophistication, and it’s always worth highlighting places that stand out. At No. 10, the spotlight is firmly on the culinary traditions of Shanghai a region celebrated for its subtle sweetness, refined flavours, and emphasis on delicate presentation. While listing every highlight would be impossible, a few dishes truly left an impression. The roast duck was exceptionally tender, rich with umami depth, while the sweet and chilli sea bass bites were a personal favourite perfectly balanced between heat and sweetness. The tofu bricks offered a pleasantly chewy texture with a savoury kick, and the sesame balls rounded things off with a warm, bready richness. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Lin, one of No. 10s owners, who shared a little about what makes the restaurant special from its dedication to authentic regional flavours to the careful attention paid to presentation. If you’re looking to explore Shanghai cuisine in London, No. 10 is a fine place to start. Bao Bao ?????? Boxpark Croydon ?? ?? Invite Back in Croydon, everyone’s favourite ends ??. This time, the visit was for Bao Bao, a charming little Taiwanese spot right by the entrance of Boxpark. Big thanks to Olivia for the warm intro and for walking through some of the signature dishes ????? Two bao buns for 10 is a solid deal in this economy ???? Tried the Braised Pork Bao Bun, Salt & Pepper Tofu Slices, and Taiwanese Fried Chicken. The pork was rich and tender, with the crushed peanuts adding a proper depth of flavour. The tofu came out crispy and well-seasonedcould’ve gone for more of those without hesitation. The fried chicken was crunchy, peppery and bold, served with a sauce that had the sharpness of Japanese mayo but with a more bitter edge ????? Also missed this in the VR: the Matcha Milk Boba hit the spot, especially in the grim UK heat ???? Big appreciation to Bao Bao for having me. El Pirata ???? Mayfair ?? ?? Invite Spanish flavours in Mayfair? Go on then ????? I usually only go for Spanish food when I’m actually in Spain (probably for the best, let’s be honest) but El Pirata really brings that authentic energy to London. Feels like a little slice of Madrid in the heart of Mayfair ?? We started off with tapas. The cod and lamb skewers were ridiculously tender, the cod just melted apart and the green peppers gave a nice little kick of balance. Then came the ribeye with grated cheese on top, absolutely phenomenal. Think AJ Styles levels of Phenomenal?? Perfectly cooked medium rare and the cheese gave it that extra salty edge. The paella was a proper seafood party with creamy rice and a cracking mix of mussels, prawns and squid ???? Every bite was full of flavour. Finished off with dessert, a warm brownie with slowly melting vanilla ice cream that was just dangerously good, and a Crema Catalana that was pure custardy bliss. Korean BBQ House ?????? Barbican ?? ?? Invite and Collaboration If you’re on the hunt for a halal Korean BBQ spot, Korean BBQ House has you coveredespecially in this sweltering UK heat. The restaurant is fully halal and serves no alcohol. They also have a branch in Canary Wharf, but this visit took me to their Barbican location. To start things off, I had the Edamamesimple and exactly as expected. The Korean Fried Chicken with honey butter garlic was packed with flavour. While it didn’t quite deliver the intense sweetness I anticipated, it was still wonderfully crispy and moreish. The highlight, of course, was the BBQ. The meats were rich, smoky, and full of flavour. The Galbi stood out with its sweet, well-balanced marinade, just edging out the Sirloin, which was tender and satisfyingly fatty. Don’t skip the bones eitherbe sure to get to the marrow. The staff were so attentive and genuinely brilliant throughout — working flat out to make sure everything was spot on. 🙌 Here’s what the table ended up ordering — buckle up, it was a feast: 🥩 Sizzling Beef in Black Pepper Sauce – £15.90 🥩 Capital Beef – £12.80 🦐 Sizzling Scallops – £22.90 🍤 Kung Po King Prawns – £13.80 🦆 Crispy Duck (Half, 16 pancakes) – £32.80 🔥 Hot Basket – £17.00 🧄 Salt & Pepper Prawns – £12.90 🦑 Salt & Pepper Squid 🌶️ Mapo Tofu – £12.70 🍆 Sizzling Aubergine in Garlic Sauce – £14.50 🐑 Mongolian Lamb – £14.40 🦞 Seafood Ho Fun – £21.40 🍜 McChina Special Fried Udon – £15.00 🌶️ Singapore Fried Rice – £12.00 🍍 Sweet & Sour Pork – £12.30 🥣 Hot & Sour Soup x4 🐟 Steamed Cod Fillets – £18.50 🍜 Beef Fried Ho Fun – £16.50 🥩 Mongolian Beef – £12.80 🌱 Salt & Chilli Tofu – £11.20 🍚 Egg Fried Rice – £8.30 My personal order? Egg Fried Rice, Salt & Chilli Tofu, and Mongolian Beef. The tofu’s blend of salt, chilli and garlic was already next level — but that saucy, tender Mongolian beef? Think Erling Haaland levels of precision. ⚽🔥 I couldn’t resist dipping into the Hot Basket too — and yes, that rib you saw me destroy was salty, delicate, and absolutely unreal. Loved catching up with both familiar and new foodies. Can’t wait to show you what’s next in JAF’s foodie movement! Don’t forget to favourite and save this post so you never miss what’s good. Kybelle Café @kybellecafe with @uk_neotaste 🍽️🍳 Shoreditch 📍 ℹ️ Visit NeoTaste hooked me up with a deal that turned out to be one of the most memorable café experiences I’ve had. We were genuinely welcomed and looked after — the atmosphere was vibrant, and the yellow-themed interior? Easily top tier 💛 Yellow really is the GOAT. The Cilbir Eggs and Shakshouka were exactly what I needed after a tough gym session 💪. I meant to skip the bread, but honestly, it wouldn’t have been the same without it 🥖. Adding Sujuk and Halloumi took it to another level — like a sandwich straight from heaven 😍. Bread might be the “bad carb,” but here? No regrets. Huge shoutout to Emily for being so lovely and making sure we were looked after 🙌 Use my referral code jaf3m on NeoTaste to unlock gems like this 🔓. Yue Kitchen @kitchenyue 🇨🇳🍚 Shoreditch 📍 ℹ️ Opening Event A big thank you to Yue Kitchen for inviting me to try their signature dishes at their brand-new spot in Shoreditch. From the moment I walked in, the team welcomed me with open arms and were genuinely excited to share what they’ve created. We started with a few small plates: the salt and chilli anchovies were packed with flavour, and the cucumber salad really surprised me with how refreshing and enjoyable it was. The fried prawn dough was a real highlight — light, crispy, and full of flavour. The siu mai was juicy, and paired with their house chilli oil, it delivered a perfect little kick. The main event was the Clay Pot Rice, which came with Chinese sausage, chicken and mushrooms. The sausage added a subtle sweetness, the chicken was soft and tender, and the mushrooms gave the dish a satisfying crunch. It was also great to watch the sesame balls being made. Let’s just say they didn’t hold back on the oil, but they were still fun to try! Huge thanks to the Yue team for a memorable evening. It was lovely to meet other foodies and to get a first taste of what Yue Kitchen has to offer. Wishing them every success in this exciting new chapter. #instagood #instagram #reels #london #fyp #trending #instalike #explore #foodporn #food #instamood #instafood #instalike #instadaily #tiktok #trend #trending #viralreels #uk #explorepage

Matcha Mochi Cafe

Matcha Mochi Café 🇯🇵🍵🍡 @mmcafe_london Invited visit – Euston 📍 I was kindly invited to try Matcha Mochi’s brand new tiramisu drink series – featuring Oreo and Biscoff! This cosy little café in Euston is perfect for a wholesome treat, whether you’re going solo or catching up with friends. Alongside their sweet drinks, you can also browse some of their cute merch – definitely worth a peek! As I mentioned in my story, I’m making a rare exception to my carb/sugar fast for collabs and what a way to kick things off 😅 Out of the two drinks, the Biscoff definitely had me internally jumping like Mario hitting a power-up. It was sweet, well-balanced, and not overly milky (which is where a lot of matcha spots go wrong). The biscuits gave it a lovely caramel touch and I’m not usually a caramel fan, so that says a lot. With summer here, I’ve got a feeling you’ll be seeing me at this café again very soon! 🌞✨ Don’t forget to save and favourite these spots so you don’t forget! 😜 #instagood #instagram #reels #london #fyp #trending #instalike #explore #foodporn #food #instamood #insta #explorepage #trend #trending #viral #reelsinstagram #uk #tiktok #video #instadaily

Hot n juicy shrimp ldn- Walthamstow
Eat
Hot n Juicy Shrimp @hotnjuicyshrimpldn 🦐🦞🦀 (Walthamstow) 📍 ℹ️ Invited Hot n Juicy Shrimp have kindly invited me back to experience their latest menu additions — and to dive once again into their irresistibly flavourful seafood! This time, they’ve expanded to a brand new location in Walthamstow, where you can enjoy your feast at the crate or take it away to savour at home. A massive thank you to the lovely team — Sayy, Alberta, Mahmoud and Kassie — for the warm welcome, great conversation, and thoughtful recommendations throughout our visit. Now, onto the food — and what a delight it was. The new menu items did not disappoint. The shrimp sliders were the standout for me: tender, perfectly seasoned shrimp paired with two sauces — a fiery hot and a smooth mayo — that balanced beautifully. The calamari was golden, crunchy, and full of flavour, while the side salad offered a refreshing contrast that kept the meal from feeling too heavy. Portions are generous, easily enough for 3–4 people. And of course, we couldn’t leave without indulging in the Seafood Mania — a glorious mix of crab, lobster, prawns, boiled eggs, sausages, and corn on the cob, all drenched in their signature garlic butter sauce. Every bite was packed with flavour, but the crab legs were the highlight — naturally sweet and made even better by that rich, garlicky butter. The corn was a delight, soaking up all the goodness, and the boiled eggs added a satisfying touch to the platter. Massive thanks once again to Hot n Juicy Shrimp — you were the very first to introduce me to the world of seafood boil, and you continue to raise the bar 🧡 #instagood #instagram #reels #london #fyp #trending #instalike #explore #foodporn #food #insta #instamood #instadaily #instastyle #reelsinstagram #uk #trend #viral #tiktok #explorepage #foryou #trend

CheeMc Elephant and Castle

CheeMC @cheemclondon 🇰🇷🍜🍗 📍 Elephant & Castle ℹ️ @theksupperclub 💜 Craving Korean Fried Chicken? You’re in the right place. CheeMC in Elephant & Castle offers a cosy, intimate dining experience perfect for sharing with family and friends. Alongside their signature crispy chicken, you’ll find classic Korean comfort dishes such as Army Stew, Udon, and Tteokbokki. All of this wouldn’t be possible without the Queen of New Malden herself – Becky – whose love for Korean cuisine continues to bring Londoners the best spots around the city. Thank you, Becky! @hangukhapa 💜 As promised, here’s a quick rundown of CheeMC’s Korean Fried Chicken flavours: • Naked (Original): Lightly seasoned, crispy, and golden – the perfect base for purists. • Yellow Snowing (Honey Butter): Sweet and savoury with a buttery honey glaze, beloved in Korea. • Korean BBQ Chicken: Rich, smoky, and slightly sweet – reminiscent of classic Korean barbecue. • Korean Soul (Sweet Chilli): A sticky, tangy chilli glaze with a gentle kick. • Oriental Green (Padak): Topped with shredded spring onions and a soy-mustard sauce for a fresh twist. • Red Devil (Gochu): Spicy and bold, made with Korean gochujang for heat lovers. • Black Agilo (Sweet Soy): Deeply savoury with notes of garlic and caramelised soy. • Korean Buffalo: A fiery fusion of Korean spice and American-style buffalo sauce. • Hawaiian Volcano: Sweet and spicy with a tropical flair – pineapple meets chilli. • Mad Garlic: Packed with roasted garlic flavour – intense but irresistible. • Creamion: A creamy onion sauce topping – rich, tangy, and slightly sweet. CheeMC’s chicken is famously crispy, crunchy, and bursting with flavour. Personally, I found it a standout compared to others I’ve tried – though it’s worth exploring both locations! (The Soho branch even has karaoke for a full K-culture night out.) Thanks for tuning in – stay hungry and watch this space for more foodie finds! 💛 #instagood #instagram #reels #london #fyp #trending #instalike #explore #foodporn #food #insta #instamood #instafood #instalike #instadaily #reelsinstagram #explorepage #tiktok #trend #viral #asia

Tokyo Bagel🇯🇵🥐🥯 (Waterloo📍) @tokyobagellondon ℹ️ visited Tokyo Bagel brings a Japanese twist to the classic bagel, right in the heart of Waterloo. It’s a casual, no-fuss spot with a menu that’s both creative and comforting. We tried the Chicken Teriyaki Tamago Bagel Sando, which had a nice balance of sweetness from the sauce, tender chicken, and the egg really brought it all together 🍳. The Kimchi Salted Beef and Mustard was a standout – smoky, rich, and with just the right amount of heat from the mustard 🌶️🥩. Finished with the Pistachio Oni croissant, which was soft with a bit of chew, and filled with a sweet pistachio centre. Really tasty – just wish there was a bit more filling! 🥐 What makes Tokyo Bagel worth checking out is how they’ve brought bold Japanese flavours into something familiar like a bagel. Ideal for a quick bite or a relaxed lunch stop. Thanks again @tokyobagellondon for having us! I’ll definitely be back soon ✨ Bagels? Old Chang Kee Covent Garden

Old Chang Kee 🇸🇬🥐 @oldchangkeeuk @rollinjoint1 🇰🇷 (Covent Garden📍) is a legendary Singaporean street food brand that’s been serving up bold, nostalgic flavours since 1956. Best known for their iconic curry puffs — a flaky, golden pastry filled with rich curried fillings. What started as a small stall outside a cinema has grown into an international chain with outlets across Asia, Australia, and now, London. Since opening in the UK a few years back, they’ve been introducing British food lovers to proper Singaporean comfort food — from classic laksa and nasi lemak to their signature puffs. It’s a proper blend of tradition and flavour, brought over with care and attention to detail (yes, even the curry paste is flown in from Singapore). Now, they’ve teamed up with the brilliant Rollin for a limited-edition Beef Bulgogi Curry Puff — and trust me, it’s something else. I don’t usually go for the whole meat-in-pastry combo, but this one? Genuinely impressive. The flavour’s rich, balanced, and proper moreish — the kind of food that makes you stop talking and just enjoy 😋 shoutout to @alexandraramirezarts for helping me film❤️ This was my first visit, but it’s safe to say I’ll be back. Big respect to Old Chang Kee for keeping their roots strong while adapting to new scenes, and massive love to Rollin — not just for this collab, but for being a real creative force and a big inspiration in my content journey. ❤️ #instagood #instagram #reels #london #fyp #trending #instalike #explore #foodporn #food #foodie #uk #london #tiktok #insta #instamood #instadaily

Shrimp Shack🦐🦞🦑 @shrimpshackco (Camden & Streathem📍) ℹ️ Invited Round 2 of our seafood boil feast is officially underway at @shrimpshackco ‼️ @j1mmy0302 and I were licking our lips in anticipation as we tucked into the ultimate seafood spread! 😋🦐 We went for the SS Boil for Two, which came packed with Lobster Tail, Mussels, Calamari, Shrimp, Sausage, Potatoes, and Corn , all coated in their spicy Piri sauce, just the way we like it! 🌶️🔥 As I said before, the Lobster Tail was the standout for me, dipped in that tangy sauce, it had me in a full-on seafood trance 💥 The corn with the sauce: Unexpectedly amazing. Honestly, I never thought I’d be raving about corn, but that was low-key life-changing 😂🌽 My only tiny wish was for the egg yolks to be a bit runny, but hey — I don’t discriminate when it comes to eggs, especially not in a feast like this one! The sides of Piri Piri Chips, Mac & Cheese, and Rice rounded off the meal perfectly. Ning Cantonese Hot Pot 🇭🇰🍲 (Goodge Street📍) ℹ️ PR invite Big thanks to Ning for having me and Jon over! Right in the middle of Goodge Street, this place serves up proper Cantonese-style hotpot, bringing a slice of Hong Kong to central London. Haidilao Hot Pot🇨🇳🍲 @ukhaidilao (Piccadilly Circus📍) Haidilao is one of the world’s most famous hot pot chains, known for its top-quality ingredients and exceptional service. Founded in China in 1994, it has since expanded globally, offering a dining experience that blends tradition with entertainment—from robotic servers to hand-pulled noodle performances. Curious to see if it lived up to the hype, I finally visited with a group of equally hungry friends. We ordered two Beef & Lamb Feast Quartets with Sukiyaki and Spicy Lamb Spine broths. The lamb spine was particularly impressive—tender and full of flavour. We also got the Kung Fu Noodles, which came with an entertaining live noodle-making show. One of Haidilao’s highlights is its sauce station (£11.70 per person), where you can mix your own flavours—I always go for sesame oil, chilli oil, and garlic. To finish, the custard buns were a standout, with a soft, sweet bread and creamy filling. Since it was International Women’s Month, Haidilao offered a 50% discount for groups where at least half were women. Though the deal has ended, it’s still worth visiting—great food, excellent service, and a dining experience like no other. Master Jay’s BBQ 🇨🇳🥩🍗 (Warren Street📍) PR inviteℹ️ On a dreary grey day, I was in need of some serious comfort food—and Master Jay’s BBQ did not disappoint! The skewers are the real showstoppers here. Whether they were just generous or secretly trying to make me fat, I’m not complaining! Every bite was packed with flavor, perfectly grilled, and elevated by the side dips and seasonings. A subtle spice kick with a bold peppery hit made each skewer irresistible. The pancakes? A solid option, especially with the veggies, but honestly, I preferred enjoying everything on its own. Be warned—fill up too quickly on the pancakes, and you might miss out on the full experience! The bean curd and salt & chilli aubergine were also standout additions, adding a nice contrast to the meat-heavy feast. Oh, and I almost forgot—they’ve also got a grocery section stocked with Asian goodies, so you can take a little taste of the experience home with you.
