Marble Arch is a 19th-century triumphal arch and public space at the northeast corner of Hyde Park, designed by John Nash and built in 1827. Originally serving as the ceremonial entrance to Buckingham Palace, it was relocated to its current position in 1851 and now stands on a traffic island at the junction of Oxford Street, Park Lane, and Edgware Road.
