Childhood in War

A free exhibition tracing how conflict has marked children's lives from 1914 to now, anchored by objects that do the talking: a Holocaust survivor's teddy bear, a rebuilt evacuee train carriage, a Cold War kitchen frozen mid-row. It doesn't soften what war does to the very young, and that refusal to flinch is the right call, not wrong.
