Summer open days at Lambeth Palace

The Archbishop of Canterbury's London residence throws open its state rooms and grand halls for one of its rare summer open days, with proceeds going to charity and guides on hand to explain five centuries of ecclesiastical history behind the doors. Book early, since only a few timed slots are on offer, and it would be a shame to arrive late and get left at the gate.
